Scandic Swania is located in the heart of Trollhättan, right by the Trollhätte Canal. The beautiful building that houses the hotel dates back to 1916, and many people in the city have a connection to the hotel. We are looking for a "Housekeeping & Breakfast Manager" for Scandic Swania - a role where you can make a difference every day!

Responsibilities

You will be responsible for two of the hotel's most significant areas: Housekeeping and Breakfast. In this role, you are expected to:

• contribute to the highest guest satisfaction by ensuring that the rooms meet high standards (clean and tidy) and thereby exceed our guests' expectations
• ensure that the breakfast experience is top-notch in terms of overall experience, both in service and quality
• be a present leader who actively coaches, develops, and builds an engaged and well-functioning team
• work operationally when the business requires it and plan and staff according to the hotel's needs
• actively contribute to the overall development of the business through your membership in the hotel's management team

Your Profile

You lead and develop the business and employees based on the company's strategy, goals, and local conditions. You have a passion for service, and through your leadership, you inspire and motivate your employees while creating conditions for you to together create outstanding guest experiences.

We are looking for someone who:

• is a confident and experienced leader from previous service operations with the ability to build strong and trusting relationships
• enjoys and understands the value of creating structure and continuously motivating and engaging others
• communicates and delegates clearly and appropriately, where active feedback is a given
• has previous experience working with administrative tasks and various forms of system support, e.g., in planning and staffing.
• is fluent in Swedish and English, both spoken and written.
